Ecofuel Fund

Fonds Ecofuel is a venture capital fund specializing in cleantech technologies. It invests smart capital in seed and early-stage companies that develop and commercialize high environmental impact clean technologies. With assets under management of $40.6 million, Fonds Ecofuel is co-founded by Cycle Capital and sponsored by investors including Investissement Québec (on behalf of the Government of Quebec), BDC Capital (investment arm of the Business Development Bank of Canada), Fondaction, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, CRIBIQ, and Desjardins Capital. The fund has evaluated over 370 opportunities and made 16 investments, supporting the growth of innovative cleantech companies primarily in Quebec and Eastern Canada.
