Cooperative Ventures is a venture capital fund established in late 2021 through a joint venture between CHS and GROWMARK, two of North America's largest farmer-owned agricultural supply cooperatives. The fund invests in innovative solutions and emerging technologies that benefit farmers, focusing on crop production, supply chain efficiency, farm business enablement, and sustainability. They are stage agnostic with a preference for early-stage companies ready to scale solutions in broad acre row crops, and their investment mandate is global with a focus on near-term impact in North American markets. In addition to capital, they provide commercial relationships, operational support, and resources through their industry expertise and farmgate network to help portfolio companies succeed.
