Wave Capital is a seed fund based in San Francisco, run by two equal partners with no additional staff. The firm keeps its portfolio highly concentrated and selective, only leading rounds and making no more than four investments a year. Wave looks for businesses with a clear mission and founders it would want to work for, drawing on the partners' own operating backgrounds at Airbnb, Dropbox, and Facebook to act as members of the early team.
